HILTON PATTAYA HOTEL / MUSHROOM BY CLAUDIO PIA

This week "accostamento" is between architecture and nature! Nature is an awesome source of inspiration and the photo of the mushroom is amazing, you can almost touch it!The gorgeous ceiling of the Hilton Pattaya Hotel with its stripes got me thinking immediately at the macro of the mushroom.

How fun is this lamp? I love decontextualized object... A wheel became a lamp... another "irreverent" piece together with the gigantic clothes pin, the chair with a walking stick and last but not least the umbrella table. I really like the geometrical reflections on the wall and I'd love to spin the wheel and see them change. :P

... and after the umbrella table an ironic chair where one of the legs is replace by a walking stick. Fun, isn'it?! But there is more, this chair "stems from a reflection on the eternal return of the "old" as a recurrent tendency of the market" and also they probably pay an homage to Duchamp :)

I absolutely love this stool, it reminds me of high school :D
It was fun to adjust it and to sit and twirl ... I'd love to have one of those old fashion stool in my home :)

My favorite is "not to be forgotten".. it's like the voice of my mum.. eheheh I am always in a hurry and every time i forget something. This will be like a "stop and think" :D
They are great as a decor for a white wall... but also to adorn pieces of furniture or objects...
Easy to remove, quite cheap, colorful & fun... Let's buy them all :P

If u don't feel ready to paint your walls you can give some colors to your house with colorful furniture :) You can buy some vintage stuff and paint them :) I did it with an old little wardrobe and i really enjoyed it :) 
I couldn't live in an house without colors!

Last week i started this new adventure about interior design. I love to hang frames to embellish the wall but it's also adorable to use paint! I absolutely prefer plain color instead of using the spatula or the sponge. This week with these 4 examples i'd like to show how is great to paint just a little something (corner, heart, part of the wall near the door...) instead of the entire wall. In this way you focus the attentions of your guest in a specific point! :)

On a plain wall u can mix the frame, playing with colors and giving your wall some vibrancy, it's fun also combining frames and other stuff creating a wall memorabilia, it's a good idea also organize your wall through an horizontal line and hang art above and below it, like the last picture!

I love when design it's not only black & white and serious... It's great when the design stuff is full of colors ;) it makes me smile!!!
In the picture you can see just some ideas of design and colors!!! I'd love to have in my future home a kartell chair... so perfect and minimal....
I love also the kartell's sandal ;) women are crazy for shoes we know that!!!!

What do you think about the matitone radiator??? Isn't it fun? It will be perfect for the kid's room!!!

I am an interior designer so in my free time I like looking also at interiors.
I love using colors . Colors in the furniture but also in the paint.
A friend of mine did her lovely house using the color a lot and the result is something really nice and unique.

Sono una disegnatrice di interni e quindi nel mio tempo libero mi piace dare un occhiata anche agli interni.

Vi consiglio naturalmente una accurata visita ai siti web... per esempio sono bellissimi i comodini e le cassettiere dipinti a mano visibili nel sito Castagnetti.eu.
Se parliamo di riciclaggio il terzo link è interessante... le sedie sono naturalmente di materiale recupero e trovate lampade dal concetto ready made e altre creazioni coloratissime!!!

UrbanOutfitters, fatevi un giro sul sito perchè ci sono una serie di cosine interessanti...io adoro il negozio qui a Dublino (Temple bar, DunDrum shopping centre). Ero tentata dall'acquisto del Chandelier...ma come faccio a portarlo a casa in valigia!!!!eheheheh...
E' sicuramente barocco il Bird chandelier... ahahah..e anche in questo di sito ci sono una serie di cosine che comprerei subito ma poi, fortunatamente, inizio a ragionare e a pensare che non mi servono...ahahah

Allestimento in Marocco ad opera di Hugo Carletto, interior designer e stilista.
Sono rimasta molto colpita sia dalla scelta cromatica, che secondo me riscalda molto gli ambienti personalizzandoli, sia dagli elementi d'arredo.
L'angolo lettura è caratterizzato da una parete in cemento a vista con nicchie illuminate, nel soggiorno è stata utilizzata una lampada a terra anni 50 abbinata a poltroncina anni 30, per la sala da pranzo sedie anni 50.
