These ceramic clocks with vibrant colors have been inspired by the Vietnamese straw hat  (called Nòn Là) but the conical shape remind me a plumb line used in construction. I love colorful and fun accessories to revive the house.

This chair would be perfect for a cafe or pastry shop, don't u think? The silhouette of the coffee cup is simply fabulous and so smart. I definitively prefer the white edition but also the black is quite stylish. I also love the handle, it comes really handy when we have to hang our bag. :)

Let's keep talking about irreverent and ironic design! what do u think about this ceramic vase?? How awesome is it? The inspiration of course is a thimble and the connection between fashion and design is quite clear. It's available in a lot of different colors as u can see in one of the images.

BASIL TRIPTYCH LAMP BY ENRICO ZANOLLA / MERINGUE VIA CALL ME CUPCAKE

First "Accostamento infinito" of the year, a white sweet meringue combine to a white pendant  lamp. The inspiration of the lamp was St. Basil cathedral in Moscow but for me, maybe because I have a sweet tooth, the first impression was a meringue :D.

How fun is this lamp? I love decontextualized object... A wheel became a lamp... another "irreverent" piece together with the gigantic clothes pin, the chair with a walking stick and last but not least the umbrella table. I really like the geometrical reflections on the wall and I'd love to spin the wheel and see them change. :P

From one of mine last post we see that Italian designer are absolutely enjoying their job and they create some funny & "irreverent" piece of design (Nata Vintage) no less this gigantic "molletta" (clothes pin) bench that can fit both interiors and outdoors spaces.

I loved this chair since the Architect i was used to work, showed it to me!
I love the way this chair merges classic and modern and I am completely agree with what the creator says "Romantic heart and soul high tech".

... and after the umbrella table an ironic chair where one of the legs is replace by a walking stick. Fun, isn'it?! But there is more, this chair "stems from a reflection on the eternal return of the "old" as a recurrent tendency of the market" and also they probably pay an homage to Duchamp :)

It was fun to adjust it and to sit and twirl ... I'd love to have one of those old fashion stool in my home :)

Colors & design....

Tubes _ Kartell

I love when design it's not only black & white and serious... It's great when the design stuff is full of colors ;) it makes me smile!!!
In the picture you can see just some ideas of design and colors!!! I'd love to have in my future home a kartell chair... so perfect and minimal....
I love also the kartell's sandal ;) women are crazy for shoes we know that!!!!

What do you think about the matitone radiator??? Isn't it fun? It will be perfect for the kid's room!!!

Colors & Interiors

I am an interior designer so in my free time I like looking also at interiors.
I love using colors . Colors in the furniture but also in the paint.
A friend of mine did her lovely house using the color a lot and the result is something really nice and unique.

Sono una disegnatrice di interni e quindi nel mio tempo libero mi piace dare un occhiata anche agli interni.
Amo l'uso del colore sia per i mobili che come pittura di pareti.

Comunque... ieri con una mia cara amica sono andata a visitare la mostra milanese sui gioielli di carta...presso la Triennale ...favolosa! Se non ci siete andate vi consiglio un giretto è presente fino al 25 di ottobre!

In una serie di piccole teche c'erano una serie infinita di gioielli di carta ...a volte quasi delle piccole sculture! Quanta invidia!!! eh eh Io naturalmente indossavo i miei di gioielli di carta!! eh eh eh

Vi consiglio naturalmente una accurata visita ai siti web... per esempio sono bellissimi i comodini e le cassettiere dipinti a mano visibili nel sito Castagnetti.eu.
Se parliamo di riciclaggio il terzo link è interessante... le sedie sono naturalmente di materiale recupero e trovate lampade dal concetto ready made e altre creazioni coloratissime!!!

Eccomi qui dopo una pausa nella mia amata Irlanda.... dove ho avuto anche la fortuna di trovare un sole splendente!
Ho scelto questo argomento ...perchè ho acquistato una di queste lettere a Dublino...da Urban Outfitters.... Visto che non sono proprio economiche ne ho presa solo una... la E....
Le coloratissime lettere di avoca invece le avevo viste quando ero a Dublino l'anno scorso.... bellissime ma non presenti on line....
E che dire delle letterine presenti su Etsy...create con il muschio...ahahaha
